Why the Left is Terrified of School Choice.

At every turn ordinary people are being labeled as racists by the radical left. This ideology has come for our teachers. Ten years ago it was ordinary for a kid misbehaving in class to be reprimanded, they would be sent to the principal’s office, stand on the fence during recess, suspended from school, heck not so long ago they were spanked by the TEACHER!

Today, however, Teachers’ hands are tied, the administration does not have their back when it comes to discipline. Teachers will send the misbehaving kid to the office and he/her is back in the class in five minutes. Where has discipline gone in schools? Why aren’t bad kids dealt with appropriately?

It’s the threat of being called a racist, its cancel culture, its the woke ideology at its finest. What teachers need to understand is that if there is push back that means they’re doing something right. The best indicator of the right thing to do is if the left has a problem with it. The end result of this practice if fast forwarded ten years will be large scale self segregation, not on race differences but on wealth differences.

Wealthy families are pulling their children from public schools at an ever increasing rate. They are moving and getting variances to different “better” public schools and going private/charter with the help of vouchers from some state governments. Herein lies the push back against School Choice from the left. If parents are given the ability to choose which school their kids go to, where does this leave the less privileged kids? Their left with schools with an exorbitant amount of misbehaving kids, the good teachers will leave because they will be in more demand at these alternative schools, they will be left with bad teachers, interrupted classes, daily bullying, and a much dimmer future. Thank the left for taking away the teachers ability to discipline their students.
